Alhaurin Golf Resort. Designed by the late Seve Ballesteros, this picture-perfect golf course comprises five par-5s, eight par-4s and five par-3s and is situated in the mountains just above Fuengirola and mid-way between Malaga and Marbella. The resort is surrounded by typical Mediterranean forestry and boasts magnificent views over the Costa del Sol.

With friendly staff, a good quality course, complete with training area, an academy course, a spacious natural grass driving range, putting green and chipping green, one has to agree it’s a superb value-for-money venue. Continuous improvements have been made to ensure Alhaurin Golf blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The trees and plants within the course are typical of the area with plenty of pine trees, Spanish oaks, cypress, orange trees, palms and olives plus a wide range of aromatic plants like thyme and rosemary.
