Terms & Conditions

We endeavour to ensure that all of our customers have complete satisfaction no matter what their requirements are. It should, however, be understood that we are acting on behalf of the supplier of the travel product specified and that the bookings are accepted on the following conditions.

Once a booking is made, the customer (lead name) guarantees that he/she has the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. This demonstrates the lead customer’s agreement to pay the balance outstanding (if applicable) and understanding that if the balance is not paid within the timescale, Northumbria Golf Breaks reserve the right to cancel any arrangement made. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English law and we both agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts at all times.

We accept payment by bank transfer, Debit Card or cheque made payable to Northumbria Golf Breaks

All tickets are non-transferable, non- refundable and non-changeable. Carriage will only be provided to the customer named on the ticket who may be required to produce appropriate identification. Tickets always remain the property of the issuing carrier and/or the relevant tour operator. The Ticket for your return or outward journey may not be valid or may cease to be valid if the first part of your ticket has not been used. All names, titles and initials of those travelling should be correctly given at the time of the booking. Changes can not be made at a later date without extra charges being incurred.

All clients must be in possession of a full ten year passport.

Full payment or a deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance is payable in accordance with our terms and conditions. All outstanding balances for your holiday are due to be paid and received by us at least six weeks before date of departure, afer this time no refunds can be made for any cancellations. Cancellation invoices will be provided by Northumbria Golf Breaks for insurance claims free of charge.

All flight times are provisional and could be subject to change. You will be informed of any major change.

It is a condition of booking with every tour operator that you have adequate insurance cover. Such insurance will ensure that you are properly covered against unexpected cancellation charges, medical costs that might be incurred while you are away, loss of money or belongings or personal liability costs. Please note that the cover offered by most credit card companies is not normally adequate for package holiday or holiday flight bookings. If you require insurance cover, Northumbria Golf Breaks will be pleased to arrange it at the time of the booking, though you are free to make your own arrangements.

Date of Cover – Clients are covered from the date that the insurance is paid, normally at the time of the booking.

No refunds are payable for any golf not played unless the course is closed for play. Being late for the allocated tee time could lose your right to play that day.

Every effort will be made to book tee off times as requested, however these cannot be guaranteed.

Baggage allowances vary and we will advise you of your allowances for flights booked through ourselves. In the event that the carrier is unable to transport golf clubs we will arrange for golf club rental hire at the destination.

Northumbria Golf Breaks must be informed of all cancellations.

Force Majeure - In these Booking Conditions, "force majeure" means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include, without limitation, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, epidemics and pandemics and all similar events outside our control.

Such circumstances will usually include, but are not limited to, war, serious security problems such as terrorist activity, airport closures, airspace closures (as well as other air traffic management decisions which may give rise to long overnight delays or cancellations of one or more flights), the inability of any Airlines to operate flights as a result of the United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union (including the loss or restriction of air traffic or transit rights or the right of airline(s) to enter any airspace), civil unrest or events arising out of political instability, industrial dispute or strikes, fire, natural or nuclear disaster, bad weather and all similar circumstances and in all such cases whether, actual or threatened. References in these conditions to 'exceptional circumstances' mean such circumstances.

Circumstances surrounding the UK leaving the EU causing currency fluctuations

Should there be any increase in the cost to us, caused by currency exchange rate fluctuations, Government action, or changes in the rates of VAT or GST, we will only absorb 3% change. You will be required to meet any increase above 3%. If we have to increase the price of your holiday by more than 10%, you will have the option of continuing with the holiday arrangements and meeting the extra costs (above 3%) or of cancelling with a credit note of any money you have paid to us, except any charges we have incurred for amendments. If you decide to cancel the holiday, you must do so within seven working days of the issue of the revised Confirmation of Booking Invoice. If there should be any decrease in cost to us by more than 3% then we will refund the difference. Any flights purchased and paid for will become the property of the named person on the ticket and will be given to the named passenger.
