The Grouse is the newest of the three nine holes with the more open far-reaching inland hill views. Although it only opened in 2008 it is already nicely mature. It has rolling terrain with fewer trees than the other two courses. The courses are teeming with wildlife including wild boar, birds and rabbits.
Designed by Bristol-based Terry Murray around ten years ago, The Guadiana and Atlântico courses are the most mature of the three courses, with attractive pine trees lining the fairways.The courses are teeming with wildlife, especially partridge in the winter months.Fast and true greens, several of them elevated and protected by bunkers, inviting elevated tees and dogleg fairways carved out of canyons are features of the courses.
Designed by Severiano Ballesteros, Quinta do Vale Golf Resort features an 18-hole Championship layout including 6 Par-5´s, 6 Par-4´s and 6 Par-3´s. Superbly integrated into the landscape and with stunning views over the Guadiana River, the course sits in a natural valley overlooked by the Clubhouse.
